Chilean Fulbright Finalist!

As of May 15th, 2025 at 5:39PM EST, I am officially a Fulbright! This award celebrates the innovation and productivity made possible through international collaboration. Both the natural resources and space science talent in Chile are uniquely fit for this project. Combining these tools, it is both my intention and my privilege to ensure that the study is completed to its full potential.

There is so much more to learn about extremophile species. Those native to the Atacama desert present distinct genomic features which may eventually support the improvement of human fitness in harsh environments, such as space.
